FTC Alternative Assignment

For members of the FTC Teams you may pursue this alternate project. It involves CADing and prototyping a simple mechanism for an FTC Robot in the current years game.

Design:

A  mechanism must be able to pick up and deliver TWO gold or silver minerals from the floor to a bucket-style container that is 6" tall. (skilled level challenge)

For exemplary level grades, the mechanism must also have a way of sorting the gold and silver minerals automatically for delivery (assume there is one bucket for gold minerals and one bucket for silver minerals).

• Your design may use any stock material from Studica, Tetrix, Rev, or another supplier.

• It may also use custom fabricated parts.

• It should be powered by up to two DC motors (any type) or up to 12 Servos(any type)

It is to be presented as CAD drawings exported from Fusion 360.

You may CAD your robot attached to a basic-bot or as a standalone sub-mechanism.
