You may earn up to three credits based on your work with CAD and Design in the engineering context.

DES 1050 - CAD 1

DES 1060 - Technical Design and Drafting 1 (TDD1)

DES 2055 - CAD 2


Please note that it is expected that all students complete CAD 1 and TDD1 while students who excel at this module will work towards credit in CAD 2.


CAD 1 makes use of the AutoCAD Software. (any version of AutoCAD will work, but in order to work on files between home and school 2020 or the web app must be used)

TDD 1 Involves creating technical drawings using AutoCAD.

CAD 2 makes use of AutoDesk's Fusion 360 Professional software to do 3D modelling. (there is a web version available, but the desktop version is preferred)
