Soldering Assignment
To complete this assignment, EACH student must show one, or all of the following solder boards or must demonstrate this Outcome through another project such as the Blinking Lights Game.
The board will be graded both on assembly technique as well as soldering quality and consistency.
The achievement level specified on each drawing is the maximum grade that each design can achieve.
Developing Level Bill of Materials (BOM)
1 SB5 protoboard
2 LEDs (any colour)
2 330Ω resistor (220Ω-470Ω is also acceptable)
5 cm 22AWG black wire (green also acceptable)
5 cm 22AWG red wire (white also acceptable)
1 Push button
Proficient Level BOM
1 - SB5 protoboard
1- 1kΩ resistor
1 -330Ω resistor
2 - LED (any colour)
1 - Capacitor (minimum 10 µF)
Exemplary Level Circuit
To earn the Exemplary level of soldering you must successfully solder your assignment 1.09 Blinking Light Game Project on to a new SB5 board.
