Why Audiobooks are great.
New in 2021 is the exciting addition of an Audiobook subscription.
Audiobooks can be used to support personalised learning preferences and differentiation with the options of:
Reading along with audio
Audio only (and drawing or writing)
Because audiobooks require imagination and concentration, they are a valid form of reading (see research section below). Watching a movie is not the same because you do not use your imagination and there is not as much detail (also, movies are never the same).
