VISUAL ARTS
The Visual Arts faculty is so very pleased to announce that we had 9 ARTEXPRESS showcase nominations this year! All students showed highly innovative, sophisticated and sensitive conceptual ideas as well as outstanding technical resolution in their chosen expressive form. All Bodies of Work are now being curated by a range of NSW galleries who host ARTEXPRESS exhibitions and we wait to hear for further selection. We are incredibly proud of them all!
A huge thank you to all of their Visual Arts teachers who they have had throughout their time at NHSPA as it all contributes to their final Year 12 success.

Students in Years 10-12 participated in extension workshops in drawing and painting with Catherine O'Donnell and Scott Owen.
These workshops allowed them to develop skills with contemporary practicing artists and to be exposed to real artworld experiences.
In Film and Animation, students have explored all elements of filmmaking at a beginner level to produce engaging and professionally formatted scripts, storyboards, short films and animations. They have been exposed to the challenges and rewards of group work and have worked in teams to support each other in the making of creative work.
