On Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 December, Year 7 ventured to Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre in Enmore. Across the two day intensive, students completed 12 stations to enhance their knowledge and understanding of aquatic environments. 

Sessions included:

• Learning CPR and DRSABCD

• Water rescues in deep and shallow water

• Safe entry and exits into the pool

• Stroke technique 

• Using flotation devices

Thank you to Year 7 for their application, attentiveness and positive attitude towards learning about one of the most important life skills, especially as we head into the summer holidays!
