As we approach the end of term the HSIE staff would like to wish our students and families a wonderful summer break and hope that you take the opportunity to enjoy the natural and built environment, and learn a bit about the history of any places you may visit wherever you are and whatever you do!
The HSIE teachers were able to embrace this opportunity in our own backyard. Earlier this term we were lucky enough to attend a walking tour led by Aunty Donna, a local Indigenous elder. Aunty Donna guided us around Redfern to explain various sites of significance to Aboriginal History in the local area.
All of us in HSIE eagerly await the release of the HSC results and can't wait to see our wonderful Year 12 students next year, and wish them all the very best as they embark on the next exciting stage of their lives.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank both Mr Fraser Armstrong and Mr Simon Buckland. Mr Armstrong and Mr Buckland joined the HSIE Faculty in Term 4 teaching across Stage 4, 5 & 6. We will sincerely miss them and their contributions to our students and wish them all the best in their new endeavours in 2025.
Happy Holidays from the HSIE Faculty !
