VALID 10 Science Results
VALID 10 Science is a comprehensive assessment program designed to evaluate the scientific understanding and skills of Year 10 students in New South Wales.
This important program focuses on key concepts across various scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth and Space Sciences. Its primary aim is to assess students' ability to apply their knowledge in practical contexts, interpret scientific data, and engage in scientific inquiry.
By participating in VALID 10 Science, students receive valuable feedback on their performance, which can guide their future learning and preparation for senior science courses. This assessment not only promotes a deeper understanding of scientific principles but also encourages the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for success in both academic pursuits and real-world applications.
A detailed result sheet of all students will be sent out to parents.

Two of our lucky Year 8 classes have once again been selected this year to participate in the LifeLab program run by the Sydney Institute for Women, Children and their Families. The program involves an 8 week educational health program run at school and an interactive excursion held at the Charles Perkins Centre at The University of Sydney.
Students were able to participate in a fun health circuit where they learned how to use a range of medical equipment to measure health. They interviewed a range of health professionals and they also used the University's high-tech labs to extract DNA from strawberries and take part in a DNA electrophoresis practical.
The Year 12 Biology students finished their course with an excursion to The Museum of Human Disease at UNSW.
We wish all our Science graduates all the best in their future endeavours.
The current Year 11 studenst have begun their HSC couse and have completed their first module.
Chemistry and Physics students have also completed their first assessment tasks.
Year 11/12 Biology students conducting an eye dissection.
