At Cronulla High School, student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the NSW Department of Education’s Wellbeing Framework for Schools and related policies, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive—academically, socially and emotionally.
Our comprehensive Wellbeing Team brings together a range of staff who support students across all aspects of the school life. The team includes the Senior Executive Team, Head Teacher Welfare, Year Advisers & Assistant Year Advisers, School Counselling Service, Student Support Officer and the Learning and Support Team. Our dedicated Wellbeing Team works in partnership with staff, families and the wider community to promote a culture of care, respect and resilience. Whether you're a student seeking support, a parent looking for information, or a staff member accessing resources, this site is your central space for wellbeing.
We invite you to explore the various tabs and resources available, where you’ll find helpful information about our programs, key contacts, student support structures, and ways we’re building a positive school climate together.
Together, we are creating a learning community where every student feels safe, valued and ready to learn.

Cronulla High School's Wellbeing Plan outlines the key themes of each year group, as well as the programs and initiatives that they are provided the opportunity to participate in during the school year:
At Cronulla High School, student wellbeing is a key priority. Our Head Teacher Welfare oversees wellbeing initiatives across the school and each year group is also supported by a designated Deputy Principal, Year Adviser and Assistant Year Adviser. This team works collaboratively to support both the academic progress and overall wellbeing of students in their year group. They serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents, providing guidance, assistance and intervention when needed.

At Cronulla High School, our School Counselling Service plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, learning, and personal development of our students. Our qualified school counsellors are available to assist students with a range of issues, including mental health, relationships, academic pressures, and personal challenges.
Working in partnership with families and staff, the School Counselling Service provides a safe, confidential space where students can feel heard, supported and empowered. Referrals can be made by students and parents and appointments can be arranged through the Wellbeing Team. Please contact your child's Year Adviser or the Head Teacher Wellbeing to enquire/or make a referral.
We are committed to ensuring that every student at Cronulla High School feels supported and equipped to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
