What We Love: Places and Things
Students from Yennora Public School love visual arts and have produced a wide variety of artworks to share.
What We Love: Places and Things is inspired by places, people, things/animals that trigger the students' engagement. They love to feel textures that remind them of these things, as well as listen and smell a variety of mediums that bring them joy. Their artworks give them an opportunity to share their joy.

Yennora Public School – What We Love: Places and Things
Duration: 2:07What do the teachers have to say?
'The students explored and created different art forms while exploring Australian flora and fauna and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art forms such as dot painting. Students used different forms and subject matter. They thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with techniques in painting, pasting, drawing and three-dimensional artworks. They love getting their hands dirty!' – Liam (teacher)
'The students enjoy participating in various artistic projects with verbal and gestural prompting. Specifically, making artworks that are personal to them, such as a family tree consisting of their own family photos and creating a Mother's Day cards using paint and real-life flowers.' – Aurelle (teacher)
