A Piece of Pizza
Students from Carinya School created artworks inspired by coming together and sharing pizza with their class. They decided to make their artwork A Piece of Pizza because it is something everyone loves to share.
A Piece of Pizza – long text description
Eight pieces of paper pizza have tomato, capsicum, mushroom and cheese drawn on top.
The pizza slices are sitting on top of a piece of cardboard with a pizza cutter in the bottom left-hand corner.
Four students hands are reaching towards the box and each grabbing a slice of cardboard pizza.
What do the students have to say?
'I can share with others. It is nice to be different.' – Lisa (student)
'We looked at how everyone is different. I got an understanding that we can all be different but still be friends.' – Ren (student)
