Rationale: This session is for staff who are in the process of finalising their 2024 Professional Development Plan (PDP) review. Facilitated by Head Teachers, the session provides time and support for staff to reflect on their achievements, evaluate progress towards their goals, and complete their review via the Digital PDP platform. The session is teacher-led, with opportunities to work independently or seek feedback from peers. Please ensure your review is completed by the end of the session.

Rationale: This session focuses on the initial stages of HSC Results Analysis, with a dual emphasis on data-driven reflection and upskilling staff who will be teaching the HSC for the first time in 2025. Faculties will examine key trends and outcomes using the NESA Results Analysis Package (RAP), while ensuring new HSC teachers are engaged in the process to build their capacity and confidence.
Please also find a link to Graham Wright's newly released resource which can be used as a supplementary guide for teachers undertaking the analysis of our HSC results. He has also included links to his templates used to record to record your analysis (simply make a copy of the file and save as your own).
Learning Outcomes
In this session, staff will:
Explore RAP data to identify strengths, trends, and areas for improvement in HSC performance.
Collaborate within faculties to share insights and establish strategies for a thorough analysis.
Actively involve new HSC teachers in the review process, fostering their understanding of RAP and its application in teaching and learning.

Rationale: Faculty Review and Planning: Reflecting on 2024, Preparing for 2025
This session provides faculties with time to reflect on the successes and challenges of 2024 while planning for a productive and well-structured 2025. A key focus will be on reviewing the newly released 2025 class lists to identify student needs and prepare effective teaching strategies.
Session Objectives:
Reflect on faculty achievements and areas for improvement in 2024.
Review and evaluate 2024 teaching programs.
Analyse and discuss 2025 class lists to address individual and group needs.
Collaboratively set goals and priorities for 2025, aligned with school-wide objectives.

Rationale: Faculty Preparation for 2025 (Part 2)
This continuation session focuses on finalising the review and planning tasks from Thursday. Faculties will utilise this time to organise teaching spaces, and ensure classrooms are clean and ready for the new school year.

Collaboratively organise and prepare teaching spaces for the upcoming year.
Ensure classrooms are secured for the holidays, clean and ready for the first day of Term 1.

This session provides our staff with the opportunity for all of us to come together to celebrate what has been yet another big year and farewell some of our colleagues. Faculties have been asked to please organise your own meal option (BYO / Uber Eats).
