In this session we'll explore the rapidly evolving landscape of education, artificial intelligence (AI) and how it presents both opportunities and challenges. As educators, we must balance the integration of AI into our teaching practices to enhance learning experiences while preserving creativity, critical thinking, and the human touch essential to education.
This presentation explores practical strategies for using AI to support rather than detract from creative teaching and learning. We will examine case studies, current research, and ethical considerations to provide a comprehensive guide for navigating this complex landscape as well as our administrative workload.
Moreover, we will look ahead to the future workforce, emphasising the critical role AI will play. As AI becomes integral to various industries, preparing our students to thrive in an AI-driven world is crucial. Embracing AI in education will ensure our students develop the skills and knowledge needed for the future workforce.
Together we'll examine the AI dilemma and learn how to leverage this technology effectively, empowering both teachers and students to thrive while maintaining educational excellence and preparing students for the future workforce.
