A large component of next weeks Twilight is dedicated to meeting our mandatory training requirements regarding the health and wellbeing of our students, particularly relating to dealing with anaphylactic reactions and administering CPR. The PL Team has also provisioned for time for staff to continue with the undertaking of syllabus reform. Staff will need to pick from the Session 2 options as outlined below which also includes some tech related sessions. New staff (listed) will be commencing the staff induction program.

NOTE: Twilight will commence at 3.30pm - 6.30pm

Anaphylaxis Refresher Course Enrolment Instructions
Step 1: Obtain their Unique Student Identifier (USI) as mandated by the Federal Government prior to the commencement of the course. You may already have a USI. You may need to reset your password to access this.

Please note that the list of staff selected for CPR training is based on school priority needs. Staff should note that we only need to provide one member of staff who is trained in CPR on overnight camps and water activities. CPR is not a requirement for general excursions.
Staff will MUST complete the online pre-learning PRIOR to TWILIGHT. The online pre-learning module will be made available to you after you have enrolled (see step 1 below). This can be completed on either a mobile device or a desktop computer and provides a completion certificate which must be shown to the trainer on the day of the onsite practical session. Most of you have done this pre-learning before so you should find working through the module quite quick.

You've probably heard the hype about AI tools such as Chat GPT. But what is the impact for teaching and learning? This session is designed for beginners who have not yet gone down the AI rabbit hole. This will be a hands-on practical session that will look at various ways as to how you may choose to use some of these AI tools that are available to us, as well as analysing the impacts of these new innovations.
NOTE: Staff may use the remaining PL time following this session to familiarise themselves with the applications and analyse the impacts related to their respective course material and existing tasks.
