Welcome to Edon Northwest Elementary!   I am looking forward to the first day of school, Wednesday, August 16th. The elementary school houses Preschool through Sixth Grade.  Our staff will instruct your child with a rigorous curriculum following Ohio’s New Learning Standards, and the belief that all students can learn.

The relationship between a child’s school and home is a critical component of academic success.  Our teachers will make a concerted effort to communicate with parents regarding student performance.  We encourage parents to talk to your child about their academic progress and reach out to his/her teachers with any questions or concerns.  Our students will directly benefit from our combined efforts.

We expect all of our students to make good choices, work hard in the classroom, and be an active participant in their own education.  By participating in class, respecting others, and being a positive member of the school community, our students will help to make Edon Northwest Elementary a great place to be.  We want all students to show Bomber P.R.I.D.E. inside and outside of the building.

Again, we are committed to providing a safe, positive, and challenging learning environment for all Edon students.  Our goal at Edon-Northwest is to equip our students with the skills necessary to pursue any academic or career path they choose upon graduation.
