Board of Education

The Edon Northwest Local Schools Board of Education meetings are held the second Monday of every month in the Media Center, room H105, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  

The public is encouraged to attend these important meetings. Occasionally, the Board will hold a special meeting when district matters need immediate attention. 

Meetings of the Board are open to the public, except for executive sessions during which Board members may meet for one or more of the following purposes as defined by Ohio law: personnel matters, sale or purchase of property, legal matters, negotiations, matters to be kept confidential by federal law or state statues, or security arrangements.

Hello everyone!  My name is Cody Best and I reside in rural Edon with my wife Karelle and our children Ryker, Larkyn, and Lowyn.  I am a 2002 graduate of Edon High School and I am currently an Insurance Agent with Best Insurance & Financial Services.

I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Edon Athletic Boosters and a volunteer with Junior Achievement.

I reside in rural Edon with my husband, Jeff, and children, Paige and Tatum.  I am a 1987 graduate of EHS, a graduate of BGSU with a degree in Elementary Education (1-8), and a graduate of Defiance College with a Master's in Education.  I have been in education for over 20 years currently teaching at Bryan City Schools.

I am a member of Theta Kappa Sorority, Edon Athletic Boosters and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Hello, I am Patty Eicher and I reside in rural Edon.  I have five children Alexander, MacKenzie, Charlie, Kathleen, and Sydney and four grandchildren.  I graduated from both Trine University and International Business College and have been employed by Hudson Industries for over 20 years.

Hello! My name is Ashley Reed and I reside in rural Edon with my husband, Nic, and our three boys, Cameron, Chase and Grant. I attended Trine University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resources; a Master of Science in Leadership and a Master of Business Administration.  I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Post-Secondary Education. I currently work as a Human Resources Manager for a Fortune 500 Company.

 I am a member of the Theta Kappa Sorority, and volunteer time to Junior Achievement and Relay for Life. I remain very active in the boys’ extracurricular activities and enjoy being involved with our community.
