Regular Route Bus Driver (AM & PM)

Edon Northwest Local School District is seeking a Regular Route Bus to serve the District .   Starting pay is $25.55/hour+ as determined by prior experience.  Interested candidates should complete an online version of the Classified Application, located below., as well as send a letter of interest and resume to Superintendent Anthony Stevens by email at astevens@edon-nw.org. 

Essential Functions:

• Ensure safety of students

• Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school and school related events

• Follow assigned bus routes and schedules

• Maintain required records and information

• Report any mechanical problems to the bus mechanic/supervisor

• Keep assigned vehicle neat and clean

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of changes in driving laws as they apply to transporting school children

• Obey all traffic laws

• Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses

• Maintain pupil control and report any violations to the proper authorities as prescribed

Qualifications:

• Possess appropriate state of Ohio certification/license, or ability/willingness to obtain licensure

• Possess State of Ohio Class B commercial driver’s license with S and P endorsements, or ability/willingness to obtain licensure

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Substitute/Event Bus Drivers

Edon Northwest Local School District is seeking Substitute/Event Bus Drivers to serve the District .   Starting pay is $29.82/hour for regular route substitutes and $25.55/hour for field trips and athletic events.  Interested candidates should complete an online version of the Classified Application, located below.  Also, send a letter of interest and resume to Superintendent Anthony Stevens by email at astevens@edon-nw.org.
