Mental well being is how we think and feel about ourselves and the world around us. Mental well being is also how we deal with our worries, our emotions, with stress and how we bounce back from life's challenges. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.
How Can We Manage Our Well Being?
There are lots of ways you can feel better if you are worried and upset or if you are feeling overwhelmed. These can be;
Express your emotions creatively through drawing or storytelling
Slow your breathing down by blowing bubbles or pretending to blow out candles
Listen to music that calms you down
Talk to a friend or an adult you can trust
Go for a walk
Sit on your balcony, or in your garden and list all the sounds you can hear
Go to sleep - and make sure you get enough sleep at night
