This program offers you targeted mentor-ship and opportunities to support your learning in Years 11 and 12.

The Sports Academy includes the 'Sports Development' course which will form part of an academic package leading to the award of an ACT Senior Secondary Certificate.

The Health & Medical Sciences Program presented by the Sciences Faculty provides students with knowledge and experiences that will enhance their opportunities to transition into study and work in the areas of Health and Medical Sciences by:

There will be weekly workshops or online content to prepare Year 12 students for AST. It starts in Term 4 of Year 11 for the following year.

A series of online modules created by the teacher librarian that are freely available for all students to access. If you register your interest with the teacher librarian and complete all of the quizzes for the module successfully to receive an R-Unit.

H courses are designed and accredited by the Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) and an Australian university. Upon successful completion, the course will be recognised both towards the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate and an undergraduate degree with that university.
These courses are complementary to your studies at Lake G. These extension courses allow you to pursue depth of study in an area of interest, while also gaining experience in a tertiary context to prepare for future studies.

ANU Extension provides an enhanced learning experience for Year 11 and 12 students in ACT schools and colleges. Study sciences, engineering, computing, mathematics, commerce and Asian languages at ANU while you're at College. This program provides students with a pathway to ANU after their completion of the H Course.
