During the project, you are going to be developing the skills needed to produce an extended essay.
On Thursday 10th June you will need to submit a mini EE world studies EE
Requirements
Maximum of 1700 words (in your IB this is 4000 words)
The essay must be about a contemporary (within your lifetime) global issue
The essay must focus on a local manifestation of the global issue (local could be a specific country, city, company, village, person, book etc.)
The essay should be largely based around one school subject eg. geography, physics etc but can include elements of others (in the IB for world studies there is a requirement to link together two subjects)
Not a requirement but, it should be about something you are interested in.
When you work on the project will be down to you. There is written information as well as helpful videos. You will be assigned a teacher supervisor who will guide you with the project and will have 3 formal meetings with you.
There are 3 key checkpoints that you will need to observe to keep you on course for finishing on time
