Appropriate use of technology is essential for the extended essay and other IB work. 

Every year there is aleast one student who loses work because it is not backed up to the cloud and their computer crashes. You do not want this to be you.

Using appropriate technology also makes life so much easier for you

Here are our recommendations

• Use google docs (google docs is fine for large documents, it can handle images and any necessary formatting and....you get the easy bib addon). Google docs also has an excellent citation tool which will make this important task easier

• If you are writing it on word, you must save your work to google drive (do it, if you don't then you are storing up a world of pain in y13, better still just do it directly to google docs)
