The Business Orientation and Match Day Reception are essential components of the Summer Student Internship Program. During the Business Orientation (10:00a – 11:30a), our Business Partners will learn crucial details regarding the Student Internship Program, including:

• Business partner expectations before, during, and after the summer internship program

• Important information regarding the employment of minors, including dos and don'ts

• Methods for evaluating and tracking student interns

• Helpful tips from experienced Business Partners and testimonials from past student interns

• An introduction to the EBRPSS Workforce Development Team

The Match Day Reception (11:30a – 1:00p) will provide an opportunity for you to meet with your student intern(s) to discuss essential details such as:

• Reporting and parking or drop-off locations

• Building access procedures

• Attire expectations

• Report times and break schedules

• Other expectations

These components are critical to ensuring a successful start and meaningful work-based learning experiences for both you, as our Business Partner, and our student interns. We hope that you or the person identified as the student interns' mentoring supervisor will be able to attend.
