CTEC provides rigorous, project-based instruction, Industry Based Credentials (IBC), and dual enrollment opportunities that can be used towards an Associate Degree while in high school.

This week we were awarded the Educational Award of Excellence from GBRIA, Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance.  We are so excited to continue to provide our students with stellar career training while still in high school.  We would like to thank everyone for the support and participation in our program.

Electronic Device Policy

We need your help to ensure our students are focused and preparing for their career choice at CTEC.  No electronic devices (cell phones, earbuds, cell watches, headphones, etc.) should be on or out while at CTEC except for during breakfast (arrival until 7:05) and lunch (10:35-11:15).  All students will be expected to put away these electronic devices during instructional time.  Students not following CTEC guidelines will be disciplined according to the EBR Parish Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.

Considerations for Acceptance:

10th-12th grade students must commit to a minimum of 2 years at CTEC.

Students should have a desire to learn a craft, earn an Industry-Based Credential, and possible dual enrollment credits! 

*Medical programs are open for 11th and 12th grade only.
