CTEC Application Portal for 24-25 will open up October 1
CTEC is a specialized program for high school students in the Capital region. Students get hands-on training in a small group environment by instructors who are credentialed and have worked in their craft area.
Students from our high schools can apply to attend CTEC for ½ day progamming that allows them to take specialized courses, many of which are dual enrollment courses with BRCC.
By still attending their home school, students have the flexibility of a specialized college type experience but also access to high school courses, extracurricular activities, and other high school experiences.
Considerations for Acceptance:
A- ATTENDANCE, good attendance record
B- BEHAVIOR, history of positive behavior
C- CREDENTIALS, you must be ready to earn Credentials
D- DUAL ENROLLMENT, ready to earn dual enrollment if applicable
E- EFFORT, history of putting forth effort (no failing grades)
10th-12th grade students must commit to a minimum of 2 years at CTEC.
Students should have a desire to learn a craft, earn an Industry-Based Credential, and possible dual enrollment credits!
*Medical programs are open for 11th and 12th grade only.
