EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
The EMT program provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become certified emergency medical technicians. The program covers topics such as patient assessment, emergency medical procedures, and basic life support. Students also gain practical experience through clinical rotations and simulated emergency scenarios. Successful completion of the program leads to eligibility to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam, which is required for EMT certification in most states. The program can prepare individuals for a career in the healthcare field and to work in a variety of emergency settings.
