"Your story starts here and ends WORKFORCE READY"

Message from the Director

Amber-Renee Boyd

This week CTEC received $10,000 from the Academic Distinction Fund to support drones and  a collaboration between multiple construction craft departments to survey the rooftops of all EBR buildings.  This also will support our students receiving FAA 107 license.  We are continuing to provide our students with real world experience to enhance their future careers.

Electronic Device Policy

We need your help to ensure our students are focused and preparing for their career choice at CTEC.  No electronic devices (cell phones, earbuds, cell watches, headphones, etc.) should be on or out while at CTEC except for during breakfast (arrival until 7:05) and lunch (10:35-11:15).  All students will be expected to put away these electronic devices during instructional time.  Students not following CTEC guidelines will be disciplined according to the EBR Parish Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.
