Design Brief: In this challenge, you'll act like engineers to solve a classic problem: protecting a fragile object during a fall. Your mission is to design and construct a container that will prevent a raw egg from breaking when dropped. Consider factors like impact absorption, weight distribution, and aerodynamic stability. Your design must adhere to the given material and size constraints.
Constraints:
Device must fit through a 12x12 inch opening.
Device must not exceed 3 pounds.
Device cannot exceed 12 inches in length.
No drag inducers can be used in any way (parachutes, streamers, etc.).
No packing materials (foam, rubber, Styrofoam, packing peanuts, etc.) can be used.
Egg cannot be directly attached to any material with tape or glue.
Egg must be easily put into and removed from device (less than 1 minute)
Materials:
1 raw egg
Any recycled safe materials that fit into the constraints.
