Device Stand Design Challenge

Design Challenge: Design and construct a wooden phone stand. The stand must be created from a piece of lumber measuring 6" x 5.5" x 0.25". The base of the stand must be at least 2.5" x 5" and capable of securely supporting a smartphone in either portrait or landscape orientation. Students will customize their stands using letter stamps and wood burning tools. Basic hand tools, drills, and scroll saws will be available for construction.
