Students will find and combine images, frames, and a wall to create a balanced digital gallery wall that represents them.
By the end of this lesson, students will:

Apply principles of design (balance, harmony, and emphasis) to create a cohesive digital composition.
Reflect their personal identity and aesthetic through a curated gallery wall.
Develop technical skills in digital design software.
Computers with image editing software (e.g., Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, or similar).
Access to online image libraries (e.g., Unsplash, Pixabay, or personal photo collections).
Example of a completed digital gallery wall for reference.
What is a gallery wall? Share examples of both physical and digital gallery walls.
How can a gallery wall reflect personal identity and aesthetic?
Find at least three images that reflect your personality, interests, or aesthetic.
Locate at least three different frame images and a wall background image.
Using selection tools,
Place each chosen image into a frame.
Arrange the framed images on the wall, ensuring balance in the composition.
Use alignment and scaling tools to refine the layout.
Use image adjustments to edit images to make them brighter or change the colors
Demonstrate how to add shadows below the frames for a more realistic effect (layer effects or brush tools).
Add hooks to the images on your wall
Add project to your portfolio and write a short explanation (2–3 sentences) about your gallery wall, describing how it represents them and the design choices you made.
