Dennis-Yarmouth art students explore, adapt, and develop self-regulatory and personal management skills in a diverse and nurturing environment. Exciting creative expression and personal achievement happens at D-Y. There is an excellent path of possibilities for creative achievement and endeavors with our experienced, professional, and dedicated staff. 

D-Y Art offers a wide variety of studio-based courses ranging from introductory foundation courses to more advanced skills and placement courses including Honors, Portfolio, Advance Placement Drawing and AP 3-Dimensional Design. Technical and conceptual skills based art at various levels and interests are available at all grade levels. Introductory courses offered include Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Ceramics, Printmaking, Mixed-Media, as well as many gallery and exhibition experiences. In addition, students are offered professional mentorship, work-based learning, community service and leadership opportunities.

Art educators offer insight to colleges and careers in the field of fine art, education,  creative industries and human-development services. College Portfolio and Advanced Placement Studio Art courses are offered in both 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional concentrations.
