We understand that devices will be shared amongst our students and the need for sanitation of all devices. The CDC recommends that we follow the manufacturer's instructions for sanitizing of all devices. With this in mind, the district has put systems in place to ensure that our students remain safe while using technology at school. It is acceptable to use alcohol-based wipes or disinfecting wipes on district devices including Google Chromebooks, Apple iPads, Dell Laptops, and Toshiba Laptops. • Unplug or power off your devices

• Use disinfecting wipes to clean and disinfect all surfaces of your device

• Clean up to three devices per wipe

• Please refrain from using paper towels and abrasive chemicals on the devices, as these can scratch or damage the screens

• Do not spray anything directly on the devices to protect them from damage

• Always wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when completing this process
