General Assembly: Foreign Influence and Control Over Critical Infrastructure and Military Assets in Developing Regions
In this committee, delegates will debate how the international community should address the growing influence of foreign powers over critical infrastructure and military operations in developing regions. Delegates will discuss the political, economic, and security implications of foreign ownership and control of ports, energy systems, telecommunications networks, and military forces, as well as the impact these relationships have on sovereignty, regional stability, and self-determination.

Akash enjoys doing deep research into sensitive topics and finding varied opinions and positions on them from the stakeholders involved. Outside of Model UN, he enjoys sailing, robotics, and listening to music.
