The IAEA committee deals with one of the most important global issues: keeping nuclear technology safe. Countries in this committee will work together to stop the spread of nuclear weapons, monitor nuclear programs, and support the safe use of nuclear energy for things like electricity and medicine. Delegates will discuss how inspections of nuclear facilities should work, how to respond if a country is suspected of building weapons, and how to make sure all countries follow international safety rules. The goal is to support scientific progress while keeping the world safe, making sure nuclear technology is used only for peaceful purposes and not turned into a threat.
