Eligibility : RA 1080 (Board for Social Worker)
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Training : 4 hours of relevant training
Experience : 1 year of relevant experience
JOB FUNCTIONS
As a Project Officer:
Prepares detailed work program
Prepares consolidated reports and submit recommendations relevant to program implementation;
Ensures fund utilization timely and accurately;
Monitors and submits fund utilization reports;
Participates in the conduct of program review and evaluation and document highlights of discussion;
Coordinates activities and maintain linkages with partner agencies through IACS/Sectoral Meetings and consultation;
Document and/or facilitates the conduct of capacity building activities.
As a Case Manager:
Interview Sama-Badjaus needing assistance;
Maintains individual case folder of Sama-Bajau clients;
Safekeep case folders of Sama Bajau;
Conduct gender/culture sensitive counseling to Sama-Bajau in need of assistance;
Monitors and evaluates helping process.
As a Community Organizer:
Enables the Sama Bajau engage in establishing goals, objectives and setting priorities;
Assists the Sama-Bajau identify their problems/needs and take effective actions on their planned goals and objectives to solve their problems and meet their needs and aspirations;
Guides the Sama-Bajaus in the process through difficulties encountered;
Initiates action through education, demonstration and other techniques and strategies;
Establish strong linkages for Sam-Bajaus and outside resources aside from the Department
Facilitates community/Sama Bajaus meetings/assemblies;
Prepares agenda, minutes of the meetings, feedback reports, and other documentations;
Form a core group of Sama-Bajau leaders in the target areas;
Facilitates the planning process in close consultation with Sama-Bajau;
Documents and submits the Sama-Bajau propose plan;
Ensures the participation/meaningful involvement of Sama Bajaus in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project;
Ensures acquisition of informed consent of Sama-Bajaus in all undertakings;
Apply other community organizing strategies as needed.
Other Services:
Renders additional services as authorized in the exigency of the service which shall be compensated accordingly;
Undertake official travel as authorized the cost of travel to be shouldered by the First Party at the rate allowed under the existing rules and:
Performs other functions as assigned by the Regional Social Technology Focal Person and the Regional Director.

Individual Performance Contract Rating for the last semester of employment for applicants from any government agencies; or Performance Evaluation signed by the supervisor or the HR Head for applicants from any private company/ institution; or GMC for newly graduates.
