University applications sometimes require you to upload a resume or curriculum vitae (CV). A resume is a formal document that lists down your address and other personal information, your education, extra curricular activities, internships, language and other skills. 

It is written in a tabular form and lists everything in chronological order (newest information on the top). 

You can use a template (available for Google Doc and Microsoft Word) or use one of the websites offering resume builders. If you enter all your information in Cialfo, you can create a resume there as well and use Word to do the formatting.
