Canada has world-class universities like University of Toronto, UBC, Western University and many international students go there every year.
Unfortunately, there is no centralised system to apply for Canadian universities. The only application system supporting multiple applications is the OUAC (Ontario Universities’ Application Centre) where you can send 8 applications to around 20 participating universities in the Ontario region.
Please be aware that sending the application through OUAC is only the first step of your application. Each university will then acknowledge the application and send you the login details for their own application portal.
Finalise the application plan to understand your deadlines. It is recommended to apply early, but the deadlines depend on the colleges and can be given only after the college list is finalised.
Send your application early through OUAC or the university portal.
Register for standardised tests as advised by the counsellor. We recommend taking the IELTS English proficiency test as this is required for the fast-track Canadian Study Permit.
Create your application account as advised by the counsellor.

Submit the application well in advance of the deadline.
Monitor your inbox for email from the different colleges. Each college will usually send you the login details for their portal.
Check the college portal if all documents have been received. If anything is missing, contact the counsellor.
Some universities require additional essays or video interviews. Please speak to the counsellor for more details and deadlines as these are individual for each university. In case of essays, please submit the first draft to your counsellor, receive and incorporate feedback and submit as soon as possible. You should always be aware of your submission deadlines.
Wait for your admission decision. Usually you will receive it on email.
Depending on your admission decisions you will have to decide for one university and pay the deposit by a specific date - usually the 01 May.
Many colleges give merit scholarships and you don't need to apply separately for these. Some scholarships require an application and essays.
Please make sure that you don't miss any deadlines.
