This year, I was part of the Center for Outreach, Research, and Engagement (CORE) program at Georgia State University's Perimeter College. Through this exceptional program, I had the unique opportunity to engage in research, community service, and academic enrichment activities. The CORE program provided me with a platform to immerse myself in various disciplines, develop critical thinking skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that benefit both my academic growth and the community.
One of the highlights of my experience was studying sustainable fashion ethics. This area of study allowed me to explore the impact of fashion on the environment and society, and to learn about practices that promote sustainability in the fashion industry. I delved into topics such as ethical sourcing, eco-friendly materials, and the importance of fair labor practices. By combining my interest in fashion with a commitment to sustainability, I was able to contribute to projects that raise awareness about sustainable fashion and encourage more ethical consumer choices.
