This year in my Spanish 2 class we have discussed many different topics, including food, the home, and holiday traditions. We focus on conversation skills and I definitely improving! My goal for Spanish is to be able to speak it fluently, I would like to travel to Spanish speaking countries and have conversations with native speakers.
This semester we have had 3 units. The first was an introductory unit, the second was about "la comida", food, and the third was about "la casa", the house. Each class we take notes and vocabulary. To learn and memorize the information, we typically use resources like quizlet (live), dreaming Spanish (youtube channel), and zoom polls. We've also used resources like Duolingo, Nearpod, and Padlet.
This was my first project in spanish 2. I took the new vocabulary we had been going over in class and used it to make a slideshow which was, All About Me.
In this project, we picked a Spanish speaking country and described the type of food they eat there, and general characteristics of the food.
In this assignment I compared my new years resolutions with my brother's. I used a Venn diagram and added pictures to go along with the actual Spanish.
In this project I recorded myself talking about my favorite activity, playing sports. I described it in ways such as, where, when, and with whom. I then added pictures of me playing sports to make the presentation look nice.
This was the last assignment of the year and acted as out final. I described my dream vacation on a slide show. I described the vacation by saying where, when, with whom, and different activities to do there. I wrote a lot more and was able to add much more detail than the first semester.
