The purpose of this box was to hold our materials that we were going to use for our future projects. I used a variety of tools: miter saw, planer, biscuit joiner, and the laser cutter. Pieces of wood were biscuit joined before being cut into the top and bottom of the container. Smaller pieces were cut to be the sides and were joined to the bottom piece with biscuits and wood glue. The entirety was then stained, excluding the inside, and the box was finished.

This hinge for my box had a few constraints: allowed the box to be stackable, attached to what represented the top and side of the container, had to have great craftsmanship or "wow" factor, and met the hinge condition.
