THE MULTIPLE MENU MODEL promotes life-long learning by building an appreciation and knowledge of skills that can be throughout a child's formal educaiton and into late adulthood. A balanced curriculum combines knowledge with instructional technique (the process used to instruct) to create the curriculum that combines concrete and abstract ideas and values.
The rationale behind the model is that it provides teachers with a set of planning guides and strategies to build a unit of study. Menus are provided in the areas of Knowledge, Instructional Objectives and Student Activities, Instructional Strategies, Instructional Sequences, and Artistic Modification.
