Dear Parents and Students of DPS Lava Nagpur,

Welcome to yet another fantastic academic year at DPS Lava Nagpur! As the Pro Vice Chairman of our esteemed institution, it gives me immense pleasure, to extend a warm welcome to all our students and parents. We are excited to embark on this new journey of learning, growth, and success together.

At DPS Lava Nagpur, we constantly strive to provide a holistic and progressive education that equips our students with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to excel in the rapidly changing world. To achieve this, we have incorporated various innovative pedagogies that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity among our students.

One such pedagogy is Learning Expeditions, which encourages students to actively engage in hands-on projects that require research, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Through Learning Expeditions, our students gain a deeper understanding of the subjects and develop essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management.

We also emphasize the importance of group discussion sessions, where students get opportunities to express their thoughts, share ideas, and learn from one another. These sessions enhance their communication and interpersonal skills and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and open-mindedness within our school community.

In pursuit of academic excellence, we strongly believe in empowering our students to set goals for themselves. By encouraging them to define their targets and work towards achieving them, we instil in them a sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a growth mindset. This approach enhances their academic performance and fosters a lifelong love for learning.

Apart from academic excellence, we firmly believe in the importance of sports and physical fitness in the overall development of our students. We provide them ample opportunities to hone their skills and showcase their talents.  We have added new facilities and equipment for various sporting activities. We encourage every student to actively participate in sports and embrace the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

I would also like to congratulate all the teachers, parents and students for the scintillating CBSE results in Grade X. One-third of our class scored above 90% with 100 on 100 in Social Studies. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off, and we are immensely proud of your achievements. Your success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our teachers, parents, and the entire DPS Lava Nagpur family.

On that note, I would like to congratulate Principal Madam and the teachers for their outstanding dedication and commitment, which has led to DPS Lava Nagpur being recognized as the Best CBSE School in Nagpur by the Times Group. This achievement validates their relentless efforts in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students.

As we embark on this new academic year, let us remember that success is measured not merely by grades or accolades, but also by the values we embrace, the skills we develop, and the positive impact we have on the world around us.
