Blurb.....At the end of Term 2, Year 7 Visual Art students were busy constructing their Pop Art everyday food objects from clay. These sculptures were inspired by Pop Artists such as Andy Warhol and Claes Oldenburg who primarily focused on creating images and forms from popular culture.
Majority of these sculptures have entered the second stage of clay making; whereby they have completely dried out and then being placed in the kiln for a bisque firing. Once fired they are ready for glazing (a glaze is basically the tern for ceramic paint).
