Career Guidance

Gaeilge

Choosing to return to education as an adult offers new life choices as well as educational options. With so many courses available, it can be hard to know which is the right one for you.

We provide free and impartial educational and career guidance for those who are considering further education and training and undergraduate study. We also provide guidance to students on Donegal ETB further education and training courses.

Our priority is to support adults who feel that they did not do so well at school and want a second chance to improve their  education. We also support those who are in receipt of a social welfare payment to improve their job prospects through education and training.

We provide access to our guidance services at the ETB guidance offices in Letterkenny and Donegal Town and on an outreach basis by appointment in Dungloe and Buncrana.

ETBI are happy to announce the launch of the FET Skills Box, which was created in collaboration with ETBI’s Future Building Skills team. The Skills Box will inform school leavers, people wishing to upskill or career changers of the pathways and career choices that are now available to them through their local ETB.

The Adult Guidance and Information Service can help you:
