e-Resources

If you're wanting to access e-Resources specifically, then you can select this format at different stages of your search. Below you will find information of all of the places you can do this using LRC Search.

The best place to access our electronic resources is by using Discover which is integrated into the LRC Search or you can find the link in the e-Library.

For more information on using Discover, please visit the dedicated page here.

Find a guide on using the e-Library here.

e-resources on LRC Search

You can select to search for e-journals or e-books in the search bar on the homepage. Simply select this from the drop down menu if you know which format you're looking for at this stage.

You can also select to search Discover at this point too if you prefer to browse the e-resources we have on offer around a particular subject or keyword.

After you've clicked on the search button to begin your research you will see a list of results around your search criteria.

On this page you will have the option of viewing the "Search Results" which is all of the resources we have catalogued in our library records. If you select the Discover tab you can view everything we have access to through our online vendors. This is the better option to choose when specifically looking for e-resources other than looking at the e-Library.

Again, for more specific information on these two options, please view the dedicated pages, linked in the first paragraph.

You can also use the limiters on the left side of the LRC Search page to select particular formats of resources such as electronic resources or a particular material type i.e. e-books and e-journals.
