What is Google Drive

This section aims to give you a quick, brief overview of what Google Drive actually is

Google Drive is a cloud-based storage service, which allows you to store files online, and to access them from anywhere, using your own mobile devices or computer.

Staff and students at Doncaster College all have access to their own individual Google Drive account, which provides unlimited storage.

You can create, share and collaborate on files and folders with colleagues, students, and other people to whom you have allowed access, for example an external examiner.

You control who has access to your files, and what they are able to do with them.

You can upload documents, images, videos, audio files and many different types of file formats, and you can access it from a desktop pc, laptop, tablet or other mobile device, including your phone.
