What is Google+?
Google+ is a way of sharing content that is of interest to you. You can do this in several ways:
- Using your own 'stream' to share content you are interested in
- Follow Collections of other users
- Follow the Profile of other users
- Join a Google+ Community
Joining a Community
Joining a Community
You can connect with people who share your interests by joining a public or private Community in Google+.
When you join a Community in Google+, you can see posts from that community in your home stream, you can also share posts to that Community. You can join public or private Communities.
Public Communities are visible, even if you are not a member of that Community. If you join a public Community, anyone can see posts that you make.
If you join a private Community, only members can see posts. Members have been invited or access to an active invite link, which is limited to a certain set of people, for example everyone within don.ac.uk.
