Maybe I’m not as bad / good as I thought I was! A bit of perspective helps a student see reality. Comparing to others’ work helps with this.

- In the Assessment menu on Brightspace, select 'Video Assignments.' This leads you into Bongo.
- Note: the name is misleading. Higgledy's submission was a research report. I also do it for live presentations. I don't use videos for this at all!
- Click the big red (pink?) '+.'
- Select 'Create individual assignment' (instructions in this link).
- Fill in the details.
- Note: A good rubric is the key to this working well. It's best to use rubrics for the Evaluation Type. More on that another time....
- Click 'Show Advanced' at the bottom to set peer assessment preferences, e.g. anonymisation.
- Most important: Have Faith! One downside at this stage is that you don't see what the students see and you don't see all the results til it's over, so bite your nails, squirm in your chair and wait....
- Enjoy the peace and quiet of no grade queries!
