What are Intelligent Agents?

Using intelligent agents, you can automate learner progress monitoring and communication within your brightspace modules. Agents scan your module and send email notifications, on your behalf, to learners who fulfil criteria defined by you, e.g. not engaging with particular content, failing to submit an assignment, scoring poorly on a quiz, or not participating in a discussion forum.

These emails can be personalised to each student in your class list and can be run manually or scheduled to run on particular dates. They are an excellent tool for initiating contact with learners who are at risk of falling behind through lack of engagement and for building 'instructor presence' into your modules.
