DepEd NCR, being a prime region, places a high value on its people. It recognizes the need to develop a complete, organized, and systematic program that includes mechanisms for swiftly and seamlessly adjusting newly hired staff to their new roles. Furthermore, as PRIME HRM LEVEL II, the need for sustaining a comprehensive orientation program that will fully integrate the operations and functions of the onboarding process is among the priorities of the Human Resource Development Division.
In the first quarter of 2024, the Human Resource and Development Division invited selected Regional Office and SDO personnel to help develop an induction program module for non-teaching personnel. While waiting for the newly hired personnel to be endorsed for induction, module writers were given time to write their respective topics. Eight months later, the personnel section endorsed 21 inductees for 2024.
Engaging sessions were facilitated by the module writers themselves; each session was truly informative and full of “Aha!” moments among the inductees. With this, the program management team recognizes all the efforts put in by our module writers and facilitators during the induction program.
