Employee Welfare

Objective

This program enables the Regional Office Personnel to feel appreciated, motivated and achieve their fullest potentials and capabilities.

Background

Employee well-being is a dependable indicator of an organization's overall health. Keeping personnel emotionally and physically well, requires a variety of services and benefits. There are a few things management may do to ensure employee welfare. In the Regional Office, we strive to ensure that our PPAs not only give chances for RO workers to advance in their careers, but also celebrate culture, have fun, unwind, and have access to services that will ensure their holistic welfare.

Guided by the National Wellness Institute's 6 Major Dimensions of Wellness framework, which includes occupational, physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional dimensions, and in accordance with mandates such as Article II, Section 15 of the 1987 Constitution, Memorandum Circular No. 38, s. 1992, Memorandum Circular No. 6, s. 1995, Memorandum Circular No. 4, s. 2020 of the CSC, Presidential Proclamation No. 326, series of 2012, or “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day,"  Senate Bill No. 490, also known as the “Department of Culture Act of 2022,” an act establishing the Department of Culture and appropriating funds for programs, projects, and activities that will protect, preserve, regulate, develop, manage, disseminate, and promote the cultural, historical, and artistic heritage, resources, tangible and intangible, of the Philippines, and Republic Act No. 10066, known as the "National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009,"  We hope that addressing all these dimensions and adhering to these mandates will build a holistic sense of wellness and fulfillment among our RO personnel. Furthermore, ensuring that gender is mainstreamed, equal opportunity principles, and inclusivity are always observed in all the activities.
